Why do you need a cat?  The VR6 cat is very high flowing to start out with.
 Many people who have gone to a test pipe have LOST bottom end power.  I
priced out a custom in/outlet sized cat from them and is around $200~ with
a week of fabrication time.

The factory cat is a 2 1/2" in and 2 1/4" out.

Dynomax makes generic catalytic converters with 2.25", 2.5", and 3"
inlet/outlets.  Screw the high dollar stuff, these are about $120.
