Schrick manifold with 256 and 268 cams

I ran the Schrick VGi with the 256's and 268's.  It
does the same thing regardless of cam choice.  It adds
a bit of hp up top and a lump of torque from 3000-4000
rpm.  However, the motor has a very unlinear power
delivery with it, it swells from 3-4000rpm, then
sharply drops, then goes up again.  I didn't really
like it.

It's also very expensive for the gains that you see. 
Unless you can score one used cheaply on, I
wouldn't bother.

Also, I'd rethink the Z-Eng charger.  It's more than
$1000 than the AMS setup from SPP and makes less power
and has a less reliable charger.  It's also not CARB
legal.  Yes, it's easier to install and you don't have
to tap the oil pan, but the AMS kit isn't all that
much harder to install and they've come up with a
groovy little fitting for the oil pan.  For $3200 it's
the clear FI choice.
